To resist is to push back, to oppose, to come against! In the spiritual sense, as Christian teachers have taught for centuries, our opposition is toward the WORLD, the FLESH, and the DEVIL. We must stand up and push back! Not as rebellion but, rather, an unwillingness to bend to every whim and desire of the enemies of our soul. This is a critical conversation because our spiritual health and vitality depend on our response and ensuing action. So, we RESIST! We declare war on the very things that keep us from thriving. Becoming stronger than we thought possible because of the Spirit of God in us! We declare RESISTANCE!

This is a minefield that the best of parents need help navigating and is never more important than if we intend to raise our kids as committed followers of Jesus and successfully launch them into adulthood.

Kids will push and pull, revolt and run and that is all before they turn three! It's the Terrible Twos, Middle School Monsters, and High School Horrors. But wait. What if there's another way? We think we can do better. We must do better. But we all need help blocking out the “noise” of society and culture in order to raise healthy, well-adjusted kids. We don’t have to give in to seasons of “terrible”, “monsters” or “horrors”! We can find new ways to approach them and help our kids through them.” Here at RESTōR, we believe that with God’s help, healthy, thriving families are possible - not perfect, just healthy and whole, that's the goal.
