Being disciplined is essential in all of life. Whether sports, education, or even relationships. Without discipline, success at any level is impossible. Most of us understand this but when it comes to successfully raising kids, discipline is not just the act of training and self-control but also the doling out of consequences to achieve the desired results. This is a minefield that the best of parents need help navigating and is never more important than if we intend to raise our kids as committed followers of Jesus and successfully launch them into adulthood.

 

ABOUT THIS SERIES

Kids will push and pull, revolt and run and that is all before they turn three! It's the Terrible Twos, Middle School Monsters, and High School Horrors. But wait. What if there's another way? We think we can do better. We must do better. But we all need help blocking out the “noise” of society and culture in order to raise healthy, well-adjusted kids. We don’t have to give in to seasons of “terrible”, “monsters” or “horrors”! We can find new ways to approach them and help our kids through them.” Here at RESTōR, we believe that with God’s help, healthy, thriving families are possible - not perfect, just healthy and whole, that's the goal.
